Consists of a cylindrical, gold-coated and water-cooled cavity with a conical back plate to minimize direct back reflections. Water passages around the cavity provide for continuous cooling. Has drillable optical taps for both FC and SMA connectors. The water inlets & outlets are pre-tapped for NPT 1/8" fittings. A variety of apertures is available, and all are compatible with the SM1 mount standard, 30mm, and 60mm cage systems (as an endpoint).
The cavity itself is expandable by adding sections. This allows the user to limit back radiation out of the inlet aperture. Cavity inner diameter is 55mm, which allows for inlet apertures up to 50mm.
Damage threshold will depend upon your application. Has been tested to 500W CW for a 10mm diameter beam in the VIS/NIR range. Test coupons are available.
